Software
with an edge.

We build desktop software for people who spend all day on their computers. Two apps are out now: Nyan, a browser you can bend to your taste, and White IDE, a code editor that never uses more than 2 GB of memory.

How we ship

From commit to your desktop.

Every release follows the same five steps. Nothing reaches your machine unless its signature checks out.

01

Build

Release builds with full LTO. Nyan ships through NSIS, White IDE through Tauri's bundler.

02

Sign

Each installer gets a minisign signature from a key that never leaves our machines.

03

Publish

The installer and its .sig go to 3kil.com/dl with a SHA-256 checksum.

04

Feed

The channel's latest.json is updated: stable, beta, or nightly.

05

Update

Apps check the feed on launch, verify the signature, and install in place.

The studio

Small team. Sharp tools. No bloat.

3Kil is part of the Anavic group of companies, based in Florida. We would rather ship one tool that feels fast and personal than ten that feel the same. Our apps don't sell your data, and they only send what they need to stay up to date.

  • Native Windows apps, no bundled Chromium
